Tuija has more than 15 years of extensive experience in financial management, internal accounting and venture capital. Tuija has participated in several M&A transactions and specializes in private equity fund management and reporting as well as portfolio company analysis. She has long experience in financial reporting for the needs of management and various owners. Tuija’s main work tasks have been related to budgeting, forecasting and tendering processes; and work on the development of internal accounting and Key Performance Indicators.
In addition to the work experience gained from a private equity company (Teknoventure Oy), Tuija has solid industry knowledge of the social services sector. She has previously worked e.g. as a business controller in the Caritas Foundation and as a business development manager in Coronaria Hoiva Oy.
Tuija has been involved in corporate management teams and growing the business through both organic growth and acquisitions. Tuija’s duties have included various business and process development activities, as well as project manager tasks related to acquisitions and integrations. Tuija has led various projects (e.g. financial system and procurement reform projects) and coordinated the international sales process of several companies.
Tuija holds degrees in economics (M.Sc. (Econ.), 2003) and law (M.Sc. (Admin.), 2020). Studies in civil law have focused on corporate law and AIFM Directive, which can be seen as her area of special expertise. The topic of her master’s thesis was “Legal and contractual means of controlling risks related to private equity fund management”.
